I absolutely detest it when a program forces me to go to My Documents, THE most perused folder in the known universe by data thieves.
How can I get the program AI 10 to allow me to change whatever I need to so I can default to my directory when I try to choose File>Open, and not My Documents. I do not EVER use My Document Location for Hackers and Thieves to Find Thank You Bill Gates EVER.
I would appreciate some help. I have not found anything, not in the config file, not on the Internet, nowhere. This is a ridiculously simple feature that I am quite confident a $5,000 program SHOULD have easily altered, no?
If it has no way to alter it, which is a finite representation of infinite stupidity, then please, Autodesk, change the code and add it. Freeware used to make smiley icons has better customization than THAT.
