Calculate the length of pipe/bar

Hi to everyone!

Please help me from what to start in order to get pipe or bar length. It can be not a VBA code (i need some overall steps and the rest i will do myself)

For example i have some pipe(tube):

1. This pipe was created manualy (sweep or extrude etc. - nobody knows) not in piping env.

2. There are some banding radiuses 

3. The ends of this pipe can be cuted with some angle.

What i need : to know what exactly pipe length i need to buy in order to make this banded and cuted pipe. 

My thinking: 

1. Maybe to start playing with Volume and Mass prop. But in this case i need to know the Area of flat end(not cutted end). Any ideas how to find exact flat end's Area?

2. It is possible (what i found) to get internal radius of banding via create the axis and measure the distance beetween this axis and face (see attached snapshot)

3. Use the results of face's measerements (area, points, position etc)

4. Also possible to get major and minor radiuses.

I guess my first question would be for you to share the .ipt file. Also, why would you need ilogic for this? I'm a little confused. This seems quite do-able if you share the ipt file. Thanks

Convert the pipe to sheetmetal.

Give the thickness of the sheetmetal the diameter. Now you have a flatpattern with dimensions
