I have another idea in my quest to automate mundane end user tasks. I'd like to create a trigger event for all drawings (.idws) that will launch upon closing the file. I'd like to have the drawing's Filename & Status pulled from the iProperty values and added to an Excel spreadsheet along with the date & time of the event trigger (overwriting the existing info if the drawing already exists in the spreadsheet). This will act as a drawing log (of sorts) to track the status and number of project drawings. I am confident I can accomplish this, and as it seems it may be a relatively common desire, I thought I'd check here first to see if this already exists or if there are any reasons it wouldn't work if I set out to code it. As usual, any opinions or info is greatly appreciated!
