2016 Addin location

Hi,

I may have missed something here, but the 2016 version of Inventor I have installed doesn't create the usual folder as below for non-version specific Inventor addins.

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Inventor Addins

It only creates this folder:

D:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Inventor 2016\Addins

Has the first location been deleted intentionally? This makes it difficult to produce an addin that functions for all releases of Inventor 2014-2016.

Look for a folder named C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins and put them in there.

If so that is unfortunate, but Inventor 2016 will still find add-ins located in or below the C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Inventor Addins folder.

The folder I mentioned will still work for all versions too. I've been using that location since release 2013 for the very reason of loading add-ins across versions.

But the other folders will all still work the same as they did in previous versions. If it's not there you may have to add it. Inventor will still look in that location if present.
