include Nastran (stanalone) with the Product Design & Manufacturing collection

Nastran-In-CAD is included with the PD&M collection (and maybe others), but the UI lacks some fit and finish. Why not include a copy of Nastran (standalone) with this collection to allow us to fully take advantage of the solver that's already included with Nastran-in-CAD?

@mitch.muncy implemented?

Hi @David_Kind, that is correct! As of the 2019 release (yesterday), the standalone Autodesk Nastran solver is now a part of the Product Design and Manufacture Collection. The FAQ link can be found here, which has some additional details, in particular the PDF at the bottom of that announcement.

@mitch.muncy thanks for the info. I'm interested in seeing in this action. I don't see any of the 2019 downloads in my Autodesk Desktop App. Is this because of the technical issues that are mentioned at the top of the page?

Correction: I can see the 2019 versions of 3DS Max, AutoCAD, and ReCap. But not Inventor, Nastran In-CAD, Nastran (standalone). Is this because of tech issues? Do I need to wait this out, or is there something I need to do?

 Hi @David_Kind, I believe it is due to the technical issues.  Hopefully they are resolved soon.
