Pressure along side of shear element

Hello,

Im trying to apply pressure on a hopper of a silo. I want pressure in normal direction and along side (shear) of the shell element. I can not seem to get the right direction on the pressure acting along the element . Any ideas?

How it is now:

How I want it to be:

Hi @eli1265

You need to calculate what the components are and enter those values using a cylindrical coordinate system.

In other words, the normal pressure and shear pressure are vectors. When combined, they are a new vector oriented in some direction. This new vector can be broken into a radial component and axial component which can then be entered on the pressure dialog.
