Pin constraint at 2018 version

Hi , 

I use Nastran in cad from 2019 version , From a reason I need to do a simulation with 2018 version.

There is no pin constraint only structural

How can create the pin constraint in the old version ?

Hello @eladm ,

You will need to create a Cilindrical Coordinate System and use that coordinate system with your structural constraint. See the video below:

Although the video was created with version 2021, the procedure for 2018 is the same. Most of the time I use workpoint to select the coordinates for the Origin, Axial direction (Z) and Radial direction (R).

You can also select sketch points, vertices or specify the coordinates yourself.
