Hi everyone.
Is anyone using Linux to run their Nastran analyses? If so, be aware of the minimum system requirements that will change with Autodesk Inventor Nastran release 2023. (Version 2023 will be released sometime in March or April 2022.) Here are the changes:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL): CentOS 7.6 is the min. support OS version on 7.x series.
- RHEL: CentOS 8.0 – specific 8.0 version – is removed from supported OS version; 8.1 or higher will be supported.
The above decisions are in alignment with EOL of Extended Support documented by RHEL for these versions.
Time to update your operating system if using an older version.
