Finite Element Limit Analysis (FELA)

Good afternoon,

Is there a way to perform a Finite Element Limit Analysis (FELA) using Inventor Nastran 2020, as required by EN13445-3 Annex B - Direct Route.

System info:

- Windows 10 Pro

- Inventor Nastran 2020 Version 2020.0.0.138

Hi Richard

I'm not an expert about EN13445-3 Annex B, but it seem that this describes different load cases that can be combined.

Than the stress calculated has to be compared to an allowed stress.

Inventor Nastran can calculate Von Mises and Tresca equivalent stress that are sometimes required.
