Autodesk Inventor 2023.3 Update breaks some Add-ins

It was noticed that Nifty Attributes (a kind of descendant of Attribute Helper*) by @BrianEkins can not be used after updating Autodesk Inventor from 2023.2 to 2023.3 (after pressing Add-In's ribbon button the Add-In's window shows for just a moment and then closes by itself).

UPDATE:

Nifty Attributes works fine in Inventor 2024.

Seems that this tool is already in Inventor, per default.

That is why you cannot load it twice!

You mean that Inventor 2023 has some built-in Add-in to work with attributes ... which is not present in 2024 (see UPDATE in the 1st message of this thread)?

Not sure if it is not available in 2024. But in 2023 it is present per default.

I believe I don't have any bulit-in Add-ins to work with Attributes in Inventor 2023.

Can you have a look in the toolstab of inventor. For me it is there in 2023!

@bradeneuropeArthur   can you show me where you see it? If you are talking about the ability to assign attributes already in the inventory, then this is not the same thing

But the main question is: whether It works as expected after installing Update 2023.3 ? (for me it doesn't - the same problem - it's window closes by itself half-second after I press the button to show it).

This does not install the add-in if i am right. this only unpack the vb.net projects.
Did not install that. I still think it comes shipped with inventor.

I don't know if it has anything to do with the 2023.3 updates, but I will concur that it does not work as it shows a quick flash of the dialog and then is gone. I don't have any other add-ins that do not work and that is good because I find this post when I am past the 50% mark of updating about 160 clients tonight.

Most likely this is a problem in 2023.3 since it works again in 2024

FYI, Brian have fixed this problem in version 3.2 (I've checked and confirm this):

BTW, 'Nifty Attributes' can now be loaded simultaneously with Attribute helper:

... yet 'Attribute Helper' is useless (obsolete) for actual Inventor releases.
