I would like for zoom to be able to zoom through parts while in model space. IE I'm constantly in a constraint command and I need to be able to select a face or geometry that is hidden behind other parts in my assembly, but I can't quite get there because zoom and pan are limited to the outer visible components. This would be similar to walk through, but while in other commands.
SW has the ability to zoom through objects once you get close enough.
