Tube and Pipe: multiple selection change size

Tube and Pipe: multiple selection change size

Haven't found this on the idea station. I am trying to get something similar as "replace should replace all selected components" but for tube and pipe elements.

When you do a run sometimes you need to change size of multiple fittings and pipes.

I don't mean change the style.

On a 2" run I can have a drain or sample valve and I need to change just those end fittings and pipes without affecting the whole run or without doing another separate run.

If you select multiple elments (content center items) there is no change size option. I have "CS" as change size shortcut but it only changes the first element selected.

@salariua, are the selected fittings in the same run or different runs?

@MrSmithtastic thanks to your hint!

@Yijiang.Cai: As far as I remember the fittings are in the same Run/Route but it wouldn't hurt to be able to work accross multiple Runs/Routes. 😁

@salariua @Yijiang.Cai it needs to work for all content centre components, tube & pipe, fittings, fixings... everything. You should be able to multi-select a group of content centre components and have a change size option. Obviously even to have this for groups of components that are the same size would be AMAZING, but TBH as long as the components were of the same family then even multiple size selection should still work.

I would like this for normal Content Center parts also...just multi-pre-select and Change Size of all selected.  Obviously they would all need to be of the same 'family' (parent file), and there would need to be some sort of warning/dialogue/list if different selected sizes are getting changed into one size.

As Gabriel mentioned on the previous page, 'replace from content center' will do exactly what you are asking, does this solve your issue?

Here's a short video demo.
