Transparent command on the marking menu

Transparent command on the marking menu

Pretty self explanatory, make the transparent command available as a short cut in the marking menu.

Currently you need to right click and select it from the long list.

(This is time consuming)

Cheers

Side note....when using the new transparent command, turn on 'display edges' in the 'display options', and reduce the colour from black to a dark shade of grey.

This will make your transparent part much clearer and the internal features much easier to see.

(The default transparent appearance is useless, autodesk, sort your it out!!!)

@P-D91 Patrick,

You can customize the marking menu to add whatever functions you want.. Right click on the ribbon anywhere and select "Customize User Commands" then go to the marking menu tab.. Select the approprioate Environment and sub environment then click on the marking menu button you wish to replace then find the transparency command in the right hand list and click on it to assign it to that button spot..

As a new user I might suggest posting your questions/concerns on the Inventor forum first before posting an idea here just to make sure its not something you just don't know about but already exists.. Like this request..

@mcgyvr Thanks for your response. I am well aware on how to customize the marking menu. I recently had training on the latest version of inventor and during which i pointed out to the trainer that this was an issue. He looked into it, agreed; and told me to submit it to this forum.

Perhaps it wasn't the latest version of inventor after all.
