TITLE BLOCK SHOW PART NAME WITHOUT THE FILE TYPE

I want to easily show the part number in my title block without showing that its an ipt or iam. To do this now means I need to put the part number in different locations within the part if i want it to populate automatically in my title block. This should be an easier solution.

John, You can easily show the part number in a titleblock without showing its extension..

But I'm going to assume you left out some important information in your post here..

Did you mean filename?

or something?

Also by default Inventor automatically takes the filename and makes it the part number iproperty and removes the extension when doing so..
