Show decals in all drawing view styles (not just shaded only)

Sure would be a nice improvement to have decals show (full color,etc..) in other view styles (hidden line and hidden line removed and shaded) in Inventor drawings.

I have had to wrestle with Inventor so much because of this issue. I would be able to work so much faster and create cleaner representations if this idea was implemented.

Just to add information to this for development/discussion use..

I think it would be nice to have the ability to show those decals in their full color if you want but also a "monochrome"  type mode or something to not completely pull focus from an otherwise colorless line drawing..

Often we need to balloon or whatever these decals just like any other component and need the decal there but don't want it sticking out like a sore thumb..

Came here because I had this exact same request. The ability to change drawing view style on a per component basis would be great for assemblies where decals that need to be oriented correctly on a part. a rectangle is not good enough.

For decals and other sketch symbols to show up in a drawing, currently, we need to make the view shaded or create workarounds such as embosses. Please consider the following options where images could be included into a view, regardless of their view style (either tab below works):

As @mcgyvr said, a stretch goal would be making sure we have an additional sub-option to make those images black and white/monochromatic.

In 2008 it was already annoying this was not implemented. 

now 16 years later it is still not possible to get the attached picture to an part on the drawing.

I think this is a pitty.
