I would like the cut length for my shafts to appear in the Unit Qty field of my Parts List in my drawings. I can't seem to find how to access the shaft length (parameter "L" in the Shaft Component Generator). @pauldoubet in "Shaft Generator parts and BOM not updating properly" says "to use the DA variable for the shaft length." I looked in Document Settings>Bill of Materials for the shaft ipt file to change the Base Quantity variable but I didn't see the length variable in the Base Quantity dropdown list. I also looked in the Shaft.ipt>Manage tab> Parameters panel. Investigating the .ipt model I found that it is generated from a revolved not fully constrained sketch. The sketch does not have the length dimension.
