But only in the 'model' environment (part or assembly model file), and only when you have a custom view representation available & active in the model at that time. Unfortunately, the section view defined in the view representation on the model side, does not carry over into a drawing view in a drawing. That one added bit of functionality has been asked for by many different people (including myself) for many years now. So, there are likely several other similar sounding posts within the 'Inventor Ideas' forum area, wanting essentially the same thing. It may be advantageous to have an Autodesk moderator attempt to 'Link' or 'combine' some of them together, to get more votes applied to them as a whole.
