Thanks for your feedback, from a technical perspective, Model States and Solid Bodies are different. Model States of part is based on feature suppression,  while Solid body is a feature option whether to participate boolean operation with existing bodies, or create a new one.

I guess your intention is to represent each solid body with different Model States, you can achieve it through suppressing solid body relevant features.

Not quite so. ModelState is a really great tool with lots of new features. That SolidBody can be suppressed using ModelState, I know. Since the high power of the ModelState is different in the parameters of each variant, in order to take full advantage of this advantage, I do not have to suppress the solid, but change its name according to the situation. Particularly relevant here is SolidBody further converting to assembly.

@jingyi.liu   Understand that productive designers no longer create detail from scratch, but try to come up with different templates to get the job done faster. And in that place, ModelState would be very useful only if you don't have to create iLogic rules, you would need to be able to assign a solidbody name to ModelState. Thank you in advance for your understanding and I very much hope that you will do so in the near future.

If you don't understand what I wanted to explain, write me an e-mail and I'll make you a movie on how to use it.
