Remove / Hide commands for Users

It would be great to remove, hide or disable commands, that users should not use. So it would be good to customize the Inventor (and other Autodesk products), that users only see the commands they need and use.

That seems possible with the CommandControl.Visible property at least for the ribbon panels.

Hi Erik,

I know that it is possible to disable and remove commands via API. I already tried this for the command "revise revision" (Revision erhöhen), the command is removed, but it is stil visible in the context menu and ribbons. When you click the command in the menu, Inventor crashes. I removed some commands in VDS on another case, there it works fine. It would be easier for some Admins, if you could disable or remove commands via xml file. But Thanks for the hint.

We have a need to remove a command from the default panels. 

We have a user that keeps using direct edit on top of direct edits. 

I confuses him and it costs him and us in time to fix it.

so we want to remove it from his system.
