Having the ability to publish iAssemblies in the Content Center is absolutely critical. I deal with pipe runs with flange connections that consist of multiple parts. For example (see attached image), each connection point consists of 2 flanges, 2 cones, 1 o-ring, 4 socket-head cap screws, 4 lock washers, and 4 nuts. It is not currently possible to use iParts to accomplish this coupling/union connection and maintain a proper BOM/Parts List. Each component NEEDS to be accounted for and currently, this is impossible with iParts.
