Paste drawing entities in place. "Paste in place"

Is there a way to copy entities from one drawing sheet or drawing doc to be able to retain the exact location?

Most times when doing save copy as dwgs or making alternate versions of a design you copy a lot of the drawing entities to save time. Implementing this feature would allow for nicer looking PDF's that don't have notes, etc. moving all around the page. It would allow docs/manuals/sop's to look much cleaner when sifting through pages. (Setting certain notes at a give margin on a sheet and then be able to copy that exact location without duplicating the sheet.)

Most A*obe applications have some way of doing this. This may be a copyright term but it would be easy enough to make another saying for it.

This could be added underneath paste. (Forgive my paint skills)image.png

Seems like Inventor looks at the extents of the note's area and finds the center.
