As I was typing the Idea Subject, I do see someone else recommended this back in 2015. I do think it would a huge timesaver. I am currently doing a screen shot / snippet of the linked part so I remember / know what part to open to edit said parameter. With a zillion files & windows open most of the time, this would be cool...
