Given the fact that the API for Autodesk Design Review 2018 has not been published yet, I would like to suggest an a idea to create a simple .NET component for displaying DWF files. This component would be used in various business applications created in MS Visual Studio. So far, we have been using the Viewer component of Design Review 2013, but this solution is not the best at the moment. I know there is a web browser viewer for DWF files, but this solution cannot be used in my own .NET projects.
I would like to ask Autodesk to create a simple standalone .NET component for displaying DWF files.
I think that if we purchased the Product Design & Manufacturing Collection license in case of using this component it would not be a violation of the license terms.
Unfortunately, the "Design Review Category" in the Autodesk Forum does not have its own "Ideas" category, so I put this suggestion into the "Inventor Ideas" category. DWF files are created by Autodesk Inventor.
