For those of us looking to automate models, assemblies, and drawings for rapid development of files & drawings for:
- Quotes/Customer submissions
- Part DXF or STEP file generation for CNC operations or production/vendor/customer needs
- Automation support for non-Inventor user needs
The Apprentice application appears to be the right idea, but falls incredibly flat/short since it's basically a reader. A non-GUI version that resides on a user-owned server for 100% custom automation calls for processing of files created in Inventor by altering Parameters and/or using typical API interface commands is the solution needed to develop on-demand support, allowing us to develop that utility to deliver as we need and not as deemed worthy by the various Cloud owners and apps, such as the Configurator 360.
