one thing is really annoying me in basically any CAD software i have used over the years:
Why is it that during the save-process of a file i can only choose one file-format at a time? I have never worked in a company where a file was existent in just one file-format but usually at least the native format plus step or iges with 3D-files or the respective native format plus dwg or dxf with 2D-files.
Request:
Please make a change to the GUI and function of the "Save-Windows"
Example:
A 3D part is created. Upon clicking "Save as" the usual window opens. But instead of choosing a name and a file format i am offered a list of possible file-formats (native, stp, igs, prt, sldprt ... ), each with a checkbox. Thus i can choose multiple types in a single process (maybe even make it possible to name each of them separately with an additional option), hit the "Save" button and a range of copies of my part are saved in different file-formats at once. Same would work with 2D-files ("Save as" ... dxf, dwg, pdf, dft ...) of course.
This would really help speeding up a nasty and time consuming procedure!
