I would like to have a setting within the Application Options and/or within the Project that would allow you to set whether you want all the views within all autosaved copies of all Drawing Documents (IDW's) to be Raster rather than Precise. That way two years later, after the actual drawing for an assemly has gone through 2 or 3 revisions, but you need to order the assembly the way it was at an earlier date for a warranty or parts order, the file in OldVersions folder, still looks exactly the way it did back then. When the views are precise, and I open of the 'OldVersion', the view is still linked to the Current Assembly model file, and the view updates to show what it looks like now, when I wanted to see what it looked like back then.
