Model State support tabulated parts list

Currently Model States is a extremely quick process to generate different variations of a part or an assembly. The same as an iPart or an iAssembly (iFactory set). But currently Model States don't support all the same features of the previous iteration of this (aka the iFactory workflow). My suggestion is to activate the Tabulated parts list feature in Inventor and keep the same increased speed benefits.

Not sure why this wasn't carried over from Iassemblies.  It's like everything else in inventor it's always half baked.

I'm about to create another ~120,000+ entity Top level iAssembly... Just tried Model States again hoping to speed up loading times and still doesn't support tabulated Parts Lists as of Version 2022.3. 😞

This iAssembly will have roughly 15+ iAssemblies within it and dozens of iParts... It takes roughly 10-30mins to open the iAssembly and roughly 4 hours to export the idw to plain dwg!
Specs: Intel i9-10885H 32GB of RAM and NVIDIA QUADRO T2000 w/Max-Q which is more than enough power to do this stuff. If we could use tabulated Parts Lists with Model States, the increases would be massive.

~120,000 entities could be cut down to a couple thousand or maybe even hundreds at most! Just a lot of repeating parts.

Update:

As of writing this. If you make a part a Model State part w/multiple lengths w/different part numbers. If you use the part in a iAssembly and need it called out for the various length options. It will not display the members in the Parts List either. I originally thought my above idea only covered iAssemblies referencing model state assembly members. But this problem is also there for Model State part members too.

Someone made 200+ Item Master parts in Vault with this and now the Tabulated BOM assemblies can't use them at all.

Someone Suggested this workaround & it didn't help: Also attempted doing the same idea as before. But this time copying and pasting complete extra instances of those parts and changing them to what you want and using the table to exclude as needed and the parts list ignores them still.

Update:

So we converted the Model State files to iParts and everything that linked to them through Vault broke horribly. For most situations that file wouldn't auto detect the change to iPart and wouldn't just pick the same member name, so we had to return to all assemblies and use component replace. This required ECOs! Another problem was more of a glitch, even after component replacing the Model State with the iPart, the Design Doctor would just show up saying we needed to update the component after every command. It only displays a ! or i next to the part. The cause was b/c it was within a pattern... Deleting the pattern and replacing component fixed the design doctor error but also broke countless other constraints and downstream assemblies and iAssemblies as a aftermath. At this point, we're never touching Model States again until these features are added back in. There needs to be parity for these tools Autodesk.

I am hoping to revive this idea with the hope that we can gain enough votes to get this into the queue with Autodesk. Model states are so much easier to work with in many but not all instances, however without this change, the assembly variations are very difficult to create production assembly drawings for. This would be a real game changer for the workflow efficiency and vault/database cleanliness when compared to iAssemblies.
