I only do this a couple times a year, so it gets me every time. If I try to export a Bill of Materials into an Excel file that is open, Inventor gives me an error message that says the Excel file is read only and Inventor locks up. I need to use the Task Manager to shut down Inventor. It would be nice if I could get the error message without Inventor locking up.
