iProperty Linked Custom Table Titles

is it possible to use Custom iProperties to link/replace Titles in tables, BOM, Material list, etc.?

We differentiate between assemblies and singular part drawings with different table to list off materials. Assemblies get BOM and terminating parts get Material List. It would be super handy to have that defined by a property that we have part of the template files.

Can you use the default parts list table with different styles?  We do this for our drawing creation.  We have one style that pulls info from some custom iProperties for the raw material number and description.  We then have another style that uses the more typical bill structure listing the parts of the assembly with their respective quantities.  We also include or exclude specific columns that are relevant for different types of processes.

These styles could be set by default within your drawing template(s).

We do have different custom tables configured but have not tried different drawing templates. we only have a single template for each sheet size regardless of it detailing out an assembly or part.

Thank you for the idea, I will try it out and hope my team members can remember what sheet template to use.

This is a great idea, it would be very useful when you want the iPart assembly or model state part number  in the table title.
