I would like to suggest that the measure tool gets a gear icon in the upper right hand corner, instead of the hamburger icon like displayed here (see image at left). This would be the settings for the measure tool. Inside the settings you could toggle/set things like: the delta to display constantly, precision, etc...
I would also like to request that in the settings, there would be an option to set the length and width of the measure tool. Something like how we set the length and width of forms, seen here:
It is very frustrating to measure something, close the tool, then measure again and have to adjust the measure tool so I can view all the data.
