I'm working a lot with marine/shipyard design.
The issue is that quite often design is in Cadmatic / Nupas.
Idea is to provide import from these software (eg. .3dc, .3dd, .3dm)
In order to work, need to translated to step and from step to Inventor,
but almost always losing surfaces during this import, same as import from Rhino.
I have used also Fusion 360 to import same step files and works better with import surfaces, it shouldn't be same for both autodesk products?
Maybe import module can be implemented or improved (.step) to not lose surfaces.
