To whom it may concern,
Today with model state function, we can have a folded sheet metal part which will be used e.g., as Left-hand side part on primary state and Right-hand side part on the next state in the same file. Also, we can have different features in between different states e.g., Left hand side with holes while Right hand side has no holes.
I think it will be nice to be able to handle flat pattern in the same way as we can handle model states of sheet metal part. Today we can have this kind of solution by using unfold to create the Left-hand side as well as the Right-hand side «flat patterns» which is not 100% accurate regarding relief shapes at bends and corners.
