Frame Generator Trim - Select Side

It would be nice in Frame Generator, when trimming, to be prompted for which end of the member you want to keep, or remove.  As it is, FG assumes you want the longer segment based on the trim faces selected, and this is not always the case.  The work around is very tedious and time consuming.

 Using Trim -Extend to Face command - after choosing a frame member would it be possible to chose which side of the cutting face is trimmed. I'm trying to create an I section haunch under a steel I beam rafter and the smallest side (the one I actually want) gets trimmed. I need the haunch size to update with changes in the rafter / column combination.

Sounds good to me.  Just last week I had a situation where I was trying to place a frame element (round tube) that was going to end up rather short, by using an already-existing line in the sketch.  It was to be trimmed to the face of some lug plates, but kept trimming on the wrong side (since the side to be cut off was longer than the side being kept).

I ended up having to add another line to the sketch and use it instead, since there was no way to control which side of the tube was cut.  An option like this would give some additional control that would help prevent situations like this.

When I trim a member in frame generator, it sometimes trims the wrong side. I'd like to be able to choose which side of the member it trims. 

Doesn't seem to matter which side of the cut I select it trims the same side each time.

Still an issue. The same goes for Trim to Frame.

This idea is very nice as i see it has been "Accepted" since 2017- but nothing happened since then..
