Flange parallel to plane

Flange parallel to plane

For one of the products we make we have to measure and manually insert the flange angle everytime we change an other angle. This flange is always parallel to the XY origin plane, so if there was an option to set a flange parallel to a plane this would be very helpful.

In the image below you can see an example of what I mean.

Hi!

Try to make a sketch where you put a driven dimesion between origin-plane and parallell plane (project geometry etc.).

Use the fx-parameter you get from the driven dimension in the Flange angle section.

Your flange angle should then be able change automaticly.

Hope this answerd your problem.

Best Regards

@Eikaas_EvenThank you for your answer, but I already tried this. The parallel plane is also at an angle. So when I use a sketch it will give me the value of 60 degrees, but the correct value is 61,98 degrees.
