Currently, to create a step bent flange (aka bump press), you either have to manually create many flanges, or do a lofted flange. Both of these options have downsides. Creating many flanges can involve manually working out angles, and pollutes the history. A lofted flange requires two drawings and potentially planes. If the contour flange had faceting options, only one drawing would be required, and there would be no pollution of the history.
