Embed FEA Files

Embed all required FEA data in the associated file, do not require additional files to be created and saved / managed. This would reduce folder and file "clutter" as well as help reduce issues when checking into a Vault and running into non unique filenames.

The workaround is to break the links once created or not create OLE links. This means the analysis data is not available to all users in a Vault work environment.

Couldn't agree more. FEA files are a nuisance. I'm constantly getting warnings that they can't be found etc. I'm sure these can be embedded.

Please don't do this.  I don't want the many GB of FEA result files that I have generated to be loaded into memory with my large assemblies.

If embedding the FEA file means a larger model file size then another alternative would be to have a more sensible/stable link/file location. Every time I open a file that has had FEA performed on it, it takes ages looking for the FEA file, only to then tell me that it can't find it (with a dialog box showing me exactly where it is!!)

It's probably a 'Project' issue, but it could be a lot simpler!!
