Direction types as Parameters
I suggest adding the opportunity to change directions of extrusions, holes etc. by setting appropriate model or user parameter. For example, 0 for Default direction, 1 for Flipped and 2 for Symmetric. This feature will greatly increase the flexibility of parametric modeling and automation in Autodesk Inventor.
This is a really great idea! But why single out just extrusion direction? If we're going to do this, it would be great if we could right-click any input in the Extrusion, Sweep, etc. boxes and click "Expose as multi-value parameter". That option would then be added as a Multi-value parameter in the "Model Parameters" list. This would be really useful for using the Parameters dialog to control the Part (and iLogic as well). Great idea.
