Hi Folks,
Just a suggestion but it would be REALLY nice to have the functionality to layout all of the cable harnesses from the same project on one nailboard.
This functionality MAY be there but I haven't found it yet and I've done a LOT of experimentation and internet searches lol.
For example;
We manufacture automotive cooling packs and systems (its not all we do but a chunk of it). A particular installation (one pictured below) may comprise two sub-systems, in this example we have a separate cooling pack for the Radiator (JWEG Hex - Jacket Water Ethylent Glycol Heat Exchanger) and for the Intercooler (CAC Hex - Charge Air Cooler Heat Exchanger) on opposite sides of the vehicle.
Each pack has its own harness and there is a linking harness between them, I've tried to create an "all in one" harness but for various procedureal and accounting issues this is increadablely cumbersome as well as time consuming. So they are created as separate part numbers, plotted onto separate nailboard drawings and then cut and pasted (literally with scissors and glue!) onto the actual nailboard itself - to put it bluntly its a bit of a ballache of a procedure and a waste of paper.
What would be great is to be able to have the functionality to take each harness in a project and lay it out on the same nailboard drawing saving paper and time and storage space.
Cheers
