The Idea is that to implement an option in Inventor that allows us to Block (Don't Allow) to change the Application Options in inventor.
Let us implement a user group or something like "Inventor Administrator".
If you are in that group you can change the Application Options, otherwise not.
This would help definitely a lot in a PDM environment (Like Vault and a release process) to have consistency in the files, like for example:
- update mass on save
- Prompt to save for re-computable updates
- File options
- Prompts
- Express mode settings
- Content center settings
- and others...
These settings would reduce a lot of issues as you may understand.
