Right now, by default, we can only add one custom panel to our Tab that is simply called "User Commands", which it adds automatically whenever you attempt to add additional or custom commants to the tab.
Within this 'Customize' dialog box:
- Add the ability to add additional custom Tabs (multiple) to whichever Ribbon I choose from a list of existing Ribbons.
- Add the ability to rename the new custom Tab(s)
- Add the ability to add additional custom Panels (multiple) to ANY existing Tab.
- Add the ability to rename the new custom Panel(s)
- And of course, we still want to be able to reorder these new Tabs & Panels by drag & drop method, as we currently can with other existing ones.
- Add the ability to specify what icon I want to use for my Macros, if there isn't already a custom one assigned to it.
- If we've already gone through all that manual process of having to create two icon files (Large & Small), it would be great if we didn't also have to name & file them so specifically.
- The Macros are already listen within the 'Customize' dialog box, so:
- It knows they exist
- It should then, know what Module they belong to in the ApplicationProject ivb file.
- So it should know how the icon files need to be named.
- And it should know where it needs to move/copy/create the icon files.
I want to be able to do all of these things from within this 'Customize' dialog box, or another future dialog box, for this purpose.
I know there are ways to do these things through code, but it would just be sooooooo much more fast and easy if these capabilities were just built into the already existing graphical dialog box, which is specifically created to allow us, the users, to be able to customize our User Interface, to best suit our individual needs, workflows, wants, etc.

I, for one, would like to spend more of my time actually getting the job done, in the most efficient way possible, rather than spending more time racking my brain, starring at a screen full of code, trying to figure out how to get Inventor's User Interface the way I want it.
