Hello all
I have gotten a quite annoying issue lately.
My inventor and AutoCad files seems to have gotten messed up thumbnails... Picture below shows how a working folder migh appear...
Both part and assembly files has the same icon..
This goes for everywhere i save a file, both on desktop, working folder etc.
Does anyone have same experience ? And does anyone know how to fix this ?
I am running a newly updated 2015 proffessional, but the issue appeared late on the 2014 version.
An update to latest version did not fix the problem in other words
Looks like you in "DETAIL VIEW"
As opposed to "LARGE ICON"
You may have to change all the sub-files one at a time if navigating to C:\Users\**you name here ** in the LEFT-HAND pain of Windows Explorer and RMB - properties and :-
then Apply or OK
Some time ago I had a similar problem where no matter what I did I could not get a preview, in that case it was caused by Avequest Fix It Utilities, so if you've got that on your system then I'm afraid you screwed unless you remove it an put something like Norton on instead.
Hello
I am not quite sure that is my problem... neither have I installed the program you mention.
I was expecting my files to show as on the picture above (taken from internet), and not like mine do...
I cant see this having anything with detail view or similar...
All my files have the same icon... assemblies and parts... .drawings etc... That is my problem

Are you seeing this from with in the Inventor min-browser when opening a file as well ?
- My files look the same no matter from where i look at them... both browser and opening files.. also files stored on my desktop appear the same way
Have you OPENED any of the files yet ??
- Yes, i have used Inventor as normal
I note you say latest version what version were/did you using/use to create these files ???
- Most files were originally created in 2014.. the issues started while using 2014. An uninstallment of this and fresh install of 2015 did not solve the issues
