Wrong drill with tapped wizard.

Hi,

I know there are many of these topic.

But instead of to change the thread spreadsheet, could it not be possible to get the inventor to read the column with tap drills "Basic"??

Thanks in advance

Check the ratio difference, what is it reading? What makes you think it's not using basic?

When I draw a thread ex. M3 look at the column O, and it gives me a wrong dia when I drag the file into my CAM system.

Now your question makes more sense..

Simply edit the document settings to use tap drill instead of minor diameter..

Be warned the tapped drill diameter does not vary with depth. Always refer to the ISO or ASME or machinist hand book before cutting.
