Picture says it all I guess.
I just downloaded the SP1 file since that didn't go automatically either.

I zoomed my browser to 400% and still couldn't make out what your issue is from the pictures you posted.

Use the Window Snipping tool

or

Alt Print Screen to capture active dialog box to the clipboard.

Post 3 separate images.

@blair you can right click the image and choose Save Picture As, and it will download it in the orignal size, which can then be opened in your image viewer on your system as full scale.

@Laurens-3DTechDraw unfortunately, even after downloading your image and looking at the screen shots, I'm still not sure what question you were intending to ask. Can you provide more details? (also, if you press ALT + PRTSCN you can take a screen capture of just the active window.

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis

My problem is, why does Application manager not the manage.autodesk.com say there are updates while the current version on my system isn't the latest.

And it's desktop subscription so I should get the updates.

Generally the "Manager" does, in this case when a ADSK employee posts the link/file right away before it works it's way into their automatic system. You might have your "Settings" set to check at the largest interval as well.

I'm not sure if special "Subscription" updates make it to the Manager App. I think it's just for the general SP's and Hot-Fixes.

It checks every 4 hours.

Also the SP1 is manually installed that didn't come up anywhere either.

After a conversation with one of the ADSK senior managers in a meeting at AU earlier this month, there is something else coming down the pipeline, I suspect it might be getting more of the resources. The new applet should make things easier and tie into subscription better (about all I can say due to non-disclosure contracts with ADSK).

Laurens,

Which version is the application manager? I've seen issues numerous times this year where it hasn't updated itself, I never know why, since it could be that the end user dismissed a prompt to update it. In any case, once updated often the product updates appear correctly. HOWEVER, I haven't seen any of the R2 or R3 updates appear for Inventor in the Application Manager. I have only managed to get those from manage.autodesk.com.

Scott,

But why don't they show in the manage.autodesk.com page?
I'll check my application manager.

Click on the product, select downloads, then search for Inventor R2, then Inventor R3. I had the same problem. They really stuffed these ones up.

Problems here too. I downloaded R2 R3 but I can't find a way to install. latest Application manager is installed. Should be a simple click and install but not so. I assume they are not installed as I can't find any confirmation anywhere they have been. Product info shows SP1 from 10-13-15 as latest.

@blair: I'm using Chrome to read the forum, and all I need to do to see the embedded images is right click and select "Open image in new tab".  In this particular case, the images are at full screen resolution!

Hey Laurens,

Had an Inventor SP1 update from 12-15 which when applied now shows all the missing updates. Go figure that one out.

For me it seems like installing an older version of the application manager did the trick.
