Why are some STEP transparent?

Now and then when I import STEP files they are transparent.
I have tried to apply color ocr change "Transparent" state but it still looks like this

Is it something to to with the STEP type or some setting when importing?

Any advices?

@Mustang69

Your browser image shows that you have multiple Surface Bodies rather than a Solid Body.

What version of Inventor are you using?

The original STEP geometry is poor quality...

Each one of these red loops is a missing surface.

If you only need as a placeholder you could derive into a single part file and Clear All Overrides...

Then apply any appearances that you want...

Turn off Translucent (see Attached file)
