where is ForceEffect in Inventor 2017.
I have ForceEffect in Inventor 2016 R2 but it missing in version 2017.
Step backward? Or is it due back soon? As far as workflows go I'm sure no one, ever, would argue that fiddling with a phone or iPad before getting what you want back into Inventor is vastly inferior. Sorry to sound negative, I just hate to see nascent new feature which appear to offer promise just vanish with such an undesirable workaround instead of improving as needed.

Hi wyattm,
ForceEffect has been abruptly retired, it has passed on, it is no more, it has ceased to be. It has expired and gone to meet it's maker. It's a stiff, Bereft of life, it rests in peace, it's pushing up the daisies, kicked the bucket, shuffled off ...
I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis

Don't worry about our postings (we kind of went off-topic). No one is upset or hate you... For a few us, it just brings back the discussion that happened at Autodesk University this year and the fun we had about it...

I'll take you to dinner.
But first you have to sit through my freshman class (we are finishing up Sheet Metal and starting spreadsheet driven configurations today). Later in the senior class we are starting Dynamic Simulation of a pick and place robot. Professional topics.
Invite Carl to come along, just don't use the "F" word.
@JDMather I knew you would show up at some point..
Maybe the new interim CEO or the new one for Autodesk will bring ForceEffect back (you never know)..
