As far as workflows go I'm sure no one, ever, would argue that fiddling with a phone or iPad before getting what you want back into Inventor is vastly inferior. Sorry to sound negative, I just hate to see nascent new feature which appear to offer promise just vanish with such an undesirable workaround instead of improving as needed.
