When switching between open files in Inventor, the Vault tab gets minimised. Please help!

Hello,

Everytime when I switch between open files in Invenot, the Vault tab (which I have beneath the Model tab) minimizes completely. I manually have to drag the tab back up to access it. But the next time I switch between an open file, the tab closes again.

I've looked endlessly online and I've only found two links, which I added below. One is a troubleshoot page from Autodesk itself, and I tried every step but nothing worked.

https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/When-switching-bet...

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-forum/vault-side-tab-is-getting-small-every-time/td-p/111619...

I even deleted and reinstalled Inventor completely and it the problem was gone for a while but it came back.

Please help me with this problem because it drives me crazy...

Thanks in advance!

Close Inventor.

Open Inventor.

Start new file.  Set Vault Tab to size you want.  Close file.  Close Inventor.

Inventor should remember and open with that setting.

Inventor will save the setting if they got resized.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply!

Sadly, it didn't work. I did exactly what you described but when I reopen a file and open another file, and switch back to the first file, the behaviour is exactly like on the video I sent earlier...

Does it work if Vault is on top?

I already tested this and yes, when I put the Vault tab on top it stays there. But it feels unnatural since I've been using Inventor for years and I always had it at the bottom.
