Volume and mass in the part list

Anonymous
Not applicable

Good day!

Suppose I put a model of a cube (.ipt ) in the assembly (.iam). In the assembly I cut off a half of this cube. Then, I put this half of the cube in the 2D drawing (.idw) and call the part list. We see that the list shows the mass and volume of the whole cube, not the half, because the cutoff was made in the assembly (.iam), not in the working file (.ipt). Question - how to display the mass and volume in the part list taking into account the cutoff which have been maded in the assembly.

Thank you!

?

Why is it cut off?

If you need it cut off, why not use it in a weldment iam and see if that works ...

Hi! You will either have to create the cut in the individual part. Or, override the mass in half.

Many thanks!
