Has anyone else ever had trouble with the value 3.25 and a vlookup in an ipart/iassembly spreadsheet. If I edit the spreadsheet after a member change it loses the cell reference, if I simply retype the 3.25 value into the cell everything goes back to normal. Then if I close the spreadsheet, do a member change and then go back in to edit it, it has again lost the reference. Anyone??

Yes, The order is:
Edit via spreadsheet
Edit whatever is needed
Save and close the spreadsheet
change the member in the model
re-open the spreadsheet and voilà!

I've heard of MS Excel locking files if the program is note shut down in-between edits.
If you don't mind, could you share the files in question with me? I will enable an FTP site for you to transfer the data to. Look for an e-mail with access instructions to arrive shortly.
Let me know if you have any trouble sharing the data.
Thanks,

I wasn't able to reproduce the issue.
In Inventor 2015 Update 2:
I repeated the same test in Inventor 2013 SP2, and everything worked as well. I uploaded that model to the FTP site for your reference.
I'm using MS Excel 2010 32-bit. Which version of Excel do you have?
Take a look again and let me know if that file still behaves the same on your machine.

Thanks,
Adding the = before the 3.25 value solves the issue so I will make this my default work flow. Thank you for your time!
