Virtual Parts - Copy and Paste Multiple Quantities Creating New Parts Instead of Multiples of Same Part

When virtual parts are being copied from one assembly and pasted into another, upon paste, duplicate parts are being created instead of having a multiple quantity of the same part. See screenshot below. Is there any fix for this?

Hi! I think this behavior is hard coded. There would need to be an option (create new or reuse). Right now, the only option seems to be "create new."
